The victims of the shooting in the main building of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University on 21 December 2023 do not include any of the students and lecturers of our Institute. However, some of our colleagues and their students were attending their classes on other floors of the main building or were performing their administrative duties there, and therefore directly experienced the traumatic experience and witnessed this senseless act of evil.
